Vycki Nalls PhD, GNP-BC, ACHPN, CWS is an innovative clinical leader, educator, and advanced practice provider with expertise in employee engagement, gerontology, chronic disease management, serious illness conversations, and palliative wound care. She received her BSN from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and her masters and PhD from University of Maryland School of Nursing. Dr. Nalls has presented nationally on developing a preceptor program and various aspects of wound care, with a focus on palliative wound management. She is a contributing author for chapters in the Advance Practice Palliative Nursing 2nd edition and Acute and Chronic Wounds 6th edition. She has served as a board member for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and the Mid-Atlantic Medical Directors Association (MMDA). She currently serves as adjunct faculty for University of Maryland School of Nursing, board member for the Post-Acute Wound & Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC), AMDA conference planning committee, AAWC communications committee, and is onsite co-director for the AMDA Futures Program.
