Dr. Sarah Howd is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of Rochester. Dr. Howd serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Senior Living Practice of UR Medicine Geriatrics Group and cares for patients at several area independent and assisted living communities. She is a certified medical director and serves as medical director of seven assisted living communities. Dr. Howd was a Tideswell Emerging Leader in Aging Scholar in 2022 through UCSF and the American Geriatric Society. She recently served as the Chair of AMDA's national subcommittee for Assisted Living.
