Joseph G. Ouslander, M.D., is Professor and Senior Advisor to the Dean for Geriatrics at the Charles E. Schmidt College of medicine at Florida Atlantic University and Professor (Courtesy) at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at FAU in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a co-author of two popular text-books, Essentials of Clinical Geriatrics and Nursing Home Care, and an editor of the major textbook in geriatrics, Hazzard’s Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, and on the Editorial Board of JAMDS.
