Dr. Griffith is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC) in Aurora, Colorado. He is the Pulmonary Director for the RMR VAMC Spinal Cord Injury/Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Multidisciplinary Clinic and the Deputy Director of the RMR VAMC Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. He is also Senior Investigator at the Denver-Seattle VA Health Services Research and Development Center of Innovation. His research is focused on developing innovative methods to diagnose, monitor and treat chronic lung diseases among older adults with functional and cognitive limitations, particularly those who live in nursing homes. He is currently funded by grants from the Department of Defense and National Institute on Aging to conduct this research.
