Ghinwa Dumyati is an infectious diseases physician and professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her research focuses on emerging infectious diseases of public health importance and estimating vaccine effectiveness. Her work is presently funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has expertise in antibiotic stewardship and quality improvement. She is the Chair of the AMDA infection advisory subcommittee and member of the NYMDA Strike Team. She is a Fellow of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
