Dr. Gometz is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. He is a Certified Medical Director at Warren Barr - Gold Coast Nursing Facility in Chicago. He is also the medical director for Rush University’s System for Health’s initiatives to advance care with its post acute care provider network. He is an expert in geriatric medicine topics such as dementia, transitions of care, post acute - long term care, and assessment of the geriatric patient. Dr. Gometz serves as faculty in the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at Rush.
