Michael Nash, MD, CMD

Dr. Nash is Post-Acute Medical Director for BJC Medical Group, leading a team of 10 physicians and advanced practitioners providing care at several skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. He also participates in Post-Acute initiatives for the BJC ACO, which serves over 35,000 patients, and the BJC system, serving 15 hospitals. He has also served in the U.S. Air Force as a Family Physician, including a deployment to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in 2008. Dr. Nash is a Certfied Medical Director (CMD) by the Amercian Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. He is a member of the Americal Academy of Family Physicians and serves as Vice Chair of the Assisted Living Committee for the Society of Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine (AMDA). Since 2022, he has also served as President of the Missouri Association of Long Term Care Physicians. He is Medical Director of several nursing homes in the St. Louis area. He has given presentations on Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Topics in the past at the AMDA Conference, for Show-Me Echo in Missouri, for HQI Quality Improvement Organization, at the University of Missouri Caring for the Older Adult Conference, and at Grand Rounds for Mercy and Washington University Residency Programs in St. Louis.
