Aruna V. Josyula, MD, MPH, CMD is a clinician-educator in Geriatric Medicine for over 10 years. Her current clinical focus is in GeriPACT (Geriatric Patient Aligned Care Team) within the Geriatric and Extended Care Service at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) in Temple, TX. As an educator, she has an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor appointment with Texas A&M University. Projects Dr. Josyula is working on include creating a Geriatric Fellowship Program at CTVHCS in partnership with Texas A&M University (serving as its Director once accredited) and developing an outpatient geriatric consultation program at CTVHCS in Temple, TX. She is passionate about ethical issues in providing person-centered care for older adults, including goals of care, ageism, and implicit bias. Dr. Josyula has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the American Geriatric Society since 2017 and its Vice-Chair since 2021.
